Yad Harutzim: A leading nightlife center in Tel Aviv
During the day, Yad Harutzim Street and its surroundings offer almost no attractions for visitors: the area is packed with auto repair shops, workshops and offices. Though it doesn’t seem that attractive during daytime, when it gets dark Yad Harutzim is one of the best places to visit if you’re in a mode for dining, dancing or drinking.
Residential properties here are scarce; this is mainly the reason why there are many restaurants, nightclubs and noisy bars playing loud music until very late, making it one of the city's major nightlife centers. Yad Harutzim is worth a visit while in Tel Aviv, even if it’s just to get a glance of the lively nightlife scene the city is famous for.
When it comes to the combination of casual atmosphere, great food and superb design, some of the best choices to dine out are spread in this area. The well known Coffee Bar (13 Yad Harutzim St., Tel 03-6889696) is probably one of the best places to dine in Tel Aviv. This mostly French cuisine bistro is accompanied by a rich wine list and friendly service. Nearby Vince and Tamar (10 Hazfira St., Tel: 03-6390407) is an industrial-chic Italian restaurant with daily specials listed on a blackboard. The moderate prices are more than reasonable for your diner value.
Some of the most popular dance bars are located in Yam Harutzim as well. Two worth mentioning are Kazinski (18 Rival St. 050-5242450), a well-designed sushi bar and lounge, and GoldA dance bar (2 Yagia Kapaim st. 03-6390608), with the same type of eclectic music and similarly happy and friendly crowd.
Being a commercial area, not many Tel Aviv hotels are located next to Yad Harutzim. As one of the most conveniently located Tel Aviv hotels, Adiv offers easy access to Yad Harutzim area by public transportation from the nearby Ben Yehuda Street. As in other Tel Aviv hotels, Adiv offers 24 hours reception services to welcome you back at any time.
