Ha'arbaa Street
Visiting Haarbaa Street usually serves one of two purposes - visiting the acclaimed Cinematheque Tel Aviv, or dining in one of the fine restaurants and bars located there.
If you want to catch a movie, the Cinematheque Tel Aviv (2 Sprinzak St.) offers a wide variety of genres and tastes, from classical works to contemporary filmmakers, and a wide selection of experimental and avant-garde pieces.
If you're lucky, you'll catch one of the many film festivals which take place in the Cinematheque Tel Aviv throughout the year, including the International Student Film Festival in June; the DocAviv Documentary Film Festival in March; Icon Festival for Science Fiction, Fantasy and Role-Playing films; and several foreign film festivals.
If you are in the mood for some gourmet food, Haarbaa Street should probably be your number one choice.
This quite small street offers more dining options than you can count; including Pahsa (8 Ha'arbaa St.) that offers authentic Turkish Kosher cuisine; Kazanki (16 Ha'arbaa St.), a nice bar-restaurant with excellent seafood dishes and attractive prices; Unami (18 Ha'arbaa St.), one of the best (though expensive) Japanese restaurants in Tel Aviv; Tapeo (16 Ha'arbaa St.), that offers great Tapas accompanied by great atmosphere; and Messa (16 Ha'arbaa St.), famous for its original Chef's dishes and special design.
When looking for a cup of coffee in the area, walk a few steps towards Hahashmonaim Street, where you'll find several cafes, and a fun bonus - Derech Hayayin (93 HaHashmonaim St.), a great wine store, and Lechamim, which is one of the finest bakeries in town.
Haarbaa Street is located at the southern end of Ibn Gvirol Street., which is the non-declared eastern border of the city center.
Not many hotels in Tel Aviv are located in this area, since most of the hotels in Tel Aviv are located closer to the beach.
Nevertheless, Adiv hotel - which is one of the most conveniently located hotels in Tel Aviv - is within a short taxi drive or a 15 minutes' walk from Cinematheque Tel Aviv and Haarbaa Street. Keywords: Cinematheque Tel Aviv, Haarbaa Street, Hotels in Tel Aviv
