Car rental Tel Aviv
When it comes to Car rental Tel Aviv is quite hospitable for travelers. There are dozens of agencies in the city, and the prices are fair. It is important to remember though that the city is jammed with cars during the day, and there is hardly any parking in the city's center. If you still choose to move around by car, it might be cheaper if you shop around online.
Regarding mileage Car Rental Tel Aviv are usually limited to 100 km for the first three days, after which there are no mileage limitations. The price usually ranges between $40-$50 for a small car including insurance. The CDW is between $275-$400,depending on the rental firm. Gas prices are somewhere around $1.5 per liter.
An important thing to remember is that car rental prices usually include VAT, which you don't have to pay while using credit cards, so you should ask for a 10% reduction. It is also important to refill before bringing back the car to the agency so you won't be charged for a full tank.
It is recommended to use a map while navigating in the city, though Tel Aviv is usually pretty well signposted. Israeli drivers tend to drive pretty fast and can be aggressive, so it is advised to drive as patiently as possible. There are considerably many traffic police cars in the city, which carry red license plates. Getting stopped by an Israeli police officer usually ends up with getting a ticket or a warning, so you better pay notice to signs and drive carefully.
